Understand first.
Build better.

Cloud, AI and technology with purpose. From the first decision to a solution your business can understand, adopt and use.

Gabriel Naranjo Microsoft MVP · MCT 20+ years turning technology into value

You don't need to start with a technology. Start with the problem.

Sometimes the challenge is knowing which path to take. Other times a decision has been made, but it still needs to become something that works. And very often the technology already exists, but people haven't yet made it part of how they work.

I need to know what to do

We analyze the context, goals, constraints and expected impact to turn a business need into a technology plan with clear priorities.

Consulting & strategy

I need to get it running

We design and implement solutions, integrations and automations, balancing value, security, cost, simplicity and maintainability.

Implementation

I need my team to adopt it

We build training and enablement programs adapted to how people actually work — not to lab examples.

Training for companies

I want to learn to use AI

Practical training for professionals and individuals who want to bring artificial intelligence into their day-to-day without needing a technical background.

Training for people

From decision to result: six ways we can work together

Technology consulting & strategy

Make well-grounded decisions before investing.

I analyze your goals, processes, risks, costs and capabilities to define which technology changes make sense and which don't. The result is not a list of tools: it is a prioritized, understandable and executable path.

Consulting

Solution design & implementation

From decision to something that works.

I design and support the implementation of digital solutions, platforms, integrations and environment modernization. The goal is to build what is needed without adding complexity for its own sake — with security, operations and evolution in mind from the start.

Implementation

Artificial intelligence & automation

Apply AI where it genuinely saves work or improves a decision.

I identify processes where AI and automation can add value, validate their viability and help turn them into real solutions. From assistants and automations to systems that can work with information and execute tasks under defined controls.

Applied AI

Security, governance & optimization

Innovate without losing control.

I review architecture, identity, access, data, costs, governance and operations so technology adoption stays sustainable — especially important when an organization brings cloud, automation or AI into sensitive processes.

Governance & security

Adoption & change

A solution nobody uses is not a transformation.

I work with teams and managers to turn new capabilities into new ways of working through use cases, enablement, good practices and knowledge transfer.

Adoption

Training

Learning by doing, on situations that actually happen outside the classroom.

Practical training for companies, teams, professionals and individuals. Content adapts to the level, context and goals of each group.

Training

Artificial intelligence is not only for technical people.

Technology changes fast, but learning to use it well shouldn't depend on knowing how to code. I design practical training for organizations — and for people who want to bring artificial intelligence into their work or daily life with security, judgment and autonomy.

Training for companies

Programs adapted to the organization's real context: from leadership and business profiles to technical, security or productivity teams. We can work on the company's own cases, learning while solving situations the team recognizes.

Content is organized by skills, not products: understanding what AI can and can't do, spotting use cases, improving productivity, automating tasks, working better with information — and doing it with security, privacy and common sense.

Train my team

AI for professionals & individuals

You do not need to be technical to start.

If you want to learn to use artificial intelligence to work better, get organized, research, write, analyze information, create content or automate small tasks, the training adapts to your level and to what you want to achieve.

The goal is not to memorize tools. It is to learn a way of working you can carry to today's tools — and to the ones arriving tomorrow.

I want to learn

Understand first. Build second.

1

Understand

We start with context: what you want to achieve, what is blocking progress today, which risks exist and how we will know the work was worth it.

2

Prioritize

We turn needs into decisions. What we do first, what stays out and what result we expect before expanding the scope.

3

Implement

We design and launch the solution with a focus on security, simplicity, cost, integration and real-world operation.

4

Transfer

We document, train and support so knowledge doesn't stay outside the organization and the solution can evolve autonomously.

Less dependency. More internal capability.

Consultant, Solutions Architect and Trainer · Founder of smartbe

More than 20 years in technology, the last seven designing cloud and security architectures for technology companies and international distributors. I have moved from technical support to solution architecture and from there to consulting and training: I know the technology from the inside, from the cable to the boardroom.

Over the years I have learned that the problem is rarely finding a tool. The hard part is deciding what is worth changing, integrating it without creating more complexity, keeping control over data and security, and getting people to make it part of how they work. That is the space where I focus my work.

I combine consulting and implementation with a part I consider inseparable: sharing knowledge. I am a Microsoft MVP and Microsoft Certified Trainer, I deliver training and workshops, I speak at technical events and I founded Microsoft Speakers Hub en Español, a community giving visibility to new technology voices in Spanish. I also write on my blog, Gabe in Cloud. Staying close to the people who build, teach and use the technology forces me to keep a practical, current perspective.

smartbe is built around that philosophy: understand before recommending, implement with judgement and leave knowledge behind.

What people usually ask before starting

Do I need to know which technology I need?

No. In fact, many conversations start exactly there. First we understand the goal, the constraints and the problem. The technology comes after.

Do you only work with companies?

No. Consulting and implementation are aimed mainly at organizations, but there is also training for professionals and individuals who want to learn how to use artificial intelligence and new digital tools in a practical way.

Is the training technical?

It depends on the audience. It can range from sessions for leadership and business profiles with no technical background to advanced workshops for technology teams. The level adapts to the group.

Is the training practical?

Yes. The priority is working with situations participants can recognize and apply. Theory is used to understand what is needed, not to fill hours.

Do you also implement?

Yes. The work can cover strategy, design, implementation and adoption. The scope is agreed before starting to avoid open-ended projects.

Can you help us with AI even if we don't have a use case yet?

Yes. An important part of the work is precisely separating interesting ideas from cases that have enough value, data and viability to deserve an investment.

Do you work with a single technology vendor?

No. The recommendation starts from your context and what the organization already uses. The goal is to find the most suitable approach, not to force a specific tool.

Good solutions
start with a conversation.

Tell me what you want to improve, what is blocking progress or what you want to learn. The first conversation is about understanding your context and checking whether it makes sense to work together. If I don't think I can help, I will tell you.
